1. RB Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts (vs. New York Jets)

The best matchup of the week goes to Colts’ stud running back Jonathan Taylor, who’s having one of the best seasons out of any running back so far in 2021. He’s the overall RB3 in fantasy points scored in PPR leagues, and his 649 rushing yards are second only to Derrick Henry.

Taylor gets the Jets this week, who are dead last in fantasy points allowed to running backs so far in 2021. That stat should speak for itself as Taylor should steamroll his way to a top-three running back finish this week, and has likely the highest upside out of any back, making him a must-start everywhere he can be started, including daily fantasy lineups.

With Derrick Henry now potentially out for the season, the top overall fantasy running back throne is wide open. Taylor has a good chance of being there at the end of the season.
