Raiders’ Henry Ruggs III involved in serious car accident

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III was involved in a bad car accident on Tuesday.
A scary car accident happened on Tuesday night involving Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver and former Alabama football star Henry Ruggs III.
TMZ reported the accident occurred early Tuesday morning in Las Vegas. The wreck occurred around 3:40 a.m. PT in the Las Vegas Valley area. While there are no reports that drugs or alcohol were involved in the car crash, there is a local report that this accident did have one fatality. However, TMZ provided in an update that Ruggs is expected to be okay following the accident.
UPDATE: Ruggs reportedly showed signs of impairment and will be charged with DUI resulting in death
The Raiders play the New York Giants on the road in Week 9 after having been on their bye week.

The photos of the car crash shows his car and the other one involved completely destroyed. While the “NFL’er is okay,” news of this crash is frightening to say the very least. Despite being 5-2 heading into their Week 9 game at New York, the Raiders have already had to deal with so much involving the Jon Gruden email scandal. Ruggs’ crash will draw all the attention during this week.
Las Vegas used a first-round draft pick on the speedy Alabama wide receiver in the 2020 NFL Draft. The former No. 12 overall pick had 24 catches for 469 yards and two touchdowns for the Silver and Black this season. While there have been no updates on the injuries he may have suffered in this crash, Ruggs was in the midst of a breakout season for the contending Raiders.
