The Braves winning the World Series means the world to Joc Pederson

Light up that cigar and enjoy it, Mr. Pederson. This season really has been a whirlwind for the veteran player. Pederson signed last offseason with the Chicago Cubs, only to get traded to Atlanta before the deadline. Chicago was in a fire sale this summer as we all know.

Pederson made his way to the Braves and immediately was welcomed with open arms. During the regular season, Pederson appeared in 64 games for the World Series champs, hitting .249 and blasting seven homers.

Throughout the postseason, the Braves were considered major underdogs, but the magic never seemed to run out. No one gave them a shot going up against the Dodgers in the NLCS, but they took them down.

Then in the World Series, folks in Houston were already planning parades before Game 1 started. Houston was the favorite to win it all, but once again Atlanta stepped up and stunned the world. Pederson and Co. are going to be living this up for a while. No one can blame them for it. Atlanta as a whole has earned this.
