Von Miller has perfect perspective on being traded to Rams
Von Miller is the newest member of the Los Angeles Rams after the NFL Trade Deadline and the pass-rusher had a hilariously perfect take on the move.
Now that Von Miller is with the Los Angeles Rams, the big question becomes when he’ll make his debut. The pass-rusher has been dealing with an injury and might not be available for Week 9, his first game as a member of the new team.
Regardless of if he makes his debut this week, though, Miller has a wonderful perspective about the trade and his new home.
Talking about the move on Wednesday, Miller noted the nice wake-up call of going from being 4-4 to 7-1.
Von Miller went from a fringe playoff team to a Super Bowl contender in the Rams trade
Particularly with how much Miller meant to the city and the fans in Denver, the trade is a bit more complicated for the veteran than going from 4-4 to 7-1. There are certainly emotions involved.
With that said, the trade does have to be refreshing for a player such as Miller who, at 32 years old, is looking for the second Super Bowl ring in his career.
The Broncos were where he won the first won but another wasn’t in sight, at least for this season. Denver has been middling and, even with Miller still playing well, that wasn’t going to change their fortunes.
In the Rams locker room, however, the goal is the Super Bowl and they appear well on their way to making a serious run at that. And the newest member of a 7-1 team will have a big say in whether or not Los Angeles can get to the mountaintop.
