Gary Payton II basically put on the Infinity Gauntlet and snapped Kelly Oubre Jr. to dust as the Warriors guard dunked all over the Hornets reserve.

When it comes to the Golden State Warriors, their guards in particular, most of the talk is about Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and, with Thompson out, the erratic stylings of Jordan Poole. Gary Payton II, however, wanted to be part of the conversation.

So much so that he was willing to sacrifice Hornets forward Kelly Oubre Jr. to do so.

On the break, Payton II got loose and was fixated on the rim. Oubre tried to go up and make a stop but there was nothing that was stopping the guard from slamming it home.

Gary Payton II put Kelly Oubre on a poster in front of the Warriors crowd

Pretty sure this is illegal in most U.S. states.

Oubre just needs to go take an ice bath and think about his existence after getting put on a poster like that.

The best part of any poster dunk such as this is the reaction of the players on the bench and the fans and Steph Curry watching in awe is the epitome of that. Even he couldn’t process what he just witnessed with Payton II assuming the role of Thanos and snapping his fingers on Oubre.

For what it’s worth, though, this didn’t deter the Hornets as they went into halftime trailing by only a point on the road against the Warriors.
