1. Raiders play down to the Giants’ level, but get to 6-2 on the season in Week 9

With the sour taste of defeat in their mouths, the Giants will come out and play inspired football, at least for a while. This will play a big part in this being a tight game throughout, but one where the Raiders will have find it within themselves to grind out a game that should be a cakewalk for them. The early start time is not going to help, but the Raiders will wake up when it matters most.

The Raiders will have balance offensively, both on the ground and through the air. While much of the game will be played between the 20s, the Raiders will win the turnover battle to go on to win the game. That will prove to be the difference in this one. No, it will not be a pretty game for the Silver and Black, but getting to 6-2 should be the ultimate goal for this team entering Week 9.

Not being able to rely on the kicking game, Carr will have to take over in the fourth quarter to eke out a victory. He will make a few more big plays with his arm than his counterpart Jones. While the Raiders rushing attack will eventually bleed out the clock, the Raiders escape MetLife with a one-score victory over the increasingly feisty Giants. The Raiders win one without playing their A game.

Look for the Raiders to beat the Giants with a score somewhere around 30-24 in Las Vegas’ favor.
