20. Pitt Panthers

The Pitt Panthers do one thing well and that’s respond to disappointing losses. After falling on the road to Miami in a spot where the Panthers, based on everything we’d seen prior to that game, should’ve won, Pitt went and blasted Duke.

Kenny Pickett was back to his prolific form with a monster passing game that should renew his Heisman consideration. Now, it’s about Pitt keeping that up and further proving themselves. The Panthers will be back in action Thursday against North Carolina, which just upset Wake Forest.

19. Wisconsin Badgers

The Wisconsin Badgers are rolling. The program that was disappointing through the first four games has been a juggernaut since. The Badgers have a path to Indianapolis and winning out will put them there.

Rutgers was the latest victim for Wisconsin. The Badgers served up a 50 burger in the win. Their remaining games against Nebraska and Minnesota will likely determine if they represent the Big Ten West in the conference title game. The signs right now point to yes.
