Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook is a victim of domestic abuse and extortion according to his agent.

Update: Reporter Rochelle Olson posted a screenshot from a conversation with a woman who filed an assault complaint against Cook in November 2020. The screenshot can be seen at this link and contains sensitive and graphic images.

Dalvin Cook is one of the best running backs in the NFL as he’s routinely been a star for the Minnesota Vikings.

However, Cook’s agent revealed on Tuesday that the running back is a central figure in a bad situation in which he is the victim of domestic abuse and extortion.

The news was reported first by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Dalvin Cook domestic abuse allegations surface

Cook’s agent, Zac Hiller, told Schefter that there is pending litigation for the crimes that the Vikings star was the victim of.

In the wake of this news, there are scarce details about Cook’s situation and what led to the running back pursuing litigation. We also do not currently know whether or not Cook’s off-field situation will affect anything on the field.
