Atlanta Braves outfielder Joc Pederson now has his pearl necklace on display in the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY, after World Series win.

The pearl necklace Braves outfielder Joc Pederson wore when he and his teammates won the 2021 World Series undoubtedly means a great deal to him.

But it also means something to MLB fans, which is why Pederson has loaned his shining piece of baseball history to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.

Starting Thursday, Pederson’s beads will be on full display as Pederson temporarily loans the necklace to the Hall of Fame.

Pederson made an impact in “Joctober”, as the slugger made two pinch-hit home runs during the NLDS against the Milwaukee Brewers, then another one in the NLCS against the Los Angeles Dodgers. His pearly fashion statement rallied Braves fans together as Atlanta inched closer and closer to their first World Series win in 26 years.

Pederson explained why he chose to sport pearls over the chains that many other professional athletes wear.

“I just saw the pearls and I was like, you know what? That looks cool,” Pederson said. “I’ve done the black chain and the gold chain and all those different ones and — I think a lot of other players have. But I don’t know, kind of caught my eye. I was like, you know, those look good.”

The trend caught on, as many Braves fans wore the now-famous pearls as the team battled through each round of the playoffs. Then, Pederson’s pearl necklace broke on Oct. 29, but his jeweler flew to Atlanta to supply him with a replacement.

After the team’s incredible win, Pederson rewarded fans by casting pearl necklaces into the crowd during Atlanta’s World Series parade.

It’s been quite a month for Joc Pederson and his pearl necklace — and now, his famous necklace gets its moment to shine in the hallowed halls of Cooperstown.
