10. Oklahoma Sooners

Pay attention to how far Oklahoma drops in the rankings. It likely won’t be out of the top 10, but it if its only a couple spots, they likely still have a path to a playoff spot, albeit would need plenty of help.

If its a bit further to the bottom, then it might be okay to stick a fork in the Sooners. Oklahoma needed to probably go undefeated on the season to get in and it didn’t. Baylor was the program that got them and now the Sooners prepare for Iowa State and then Oklahoma State.

9. Oklahoma State Cowboys

Oklahoma State made sure to not overlook TCU as it rolled to a big win at home. The Cowboys are looking to chase down the Big 12 crown and probably were hoping the Sooners would remain undefeated until they squared off in the last regular season game.

Instead, Oklahoma State’s ceiling is probably the Sugar Bowl if it can win out and take the conference. There’s a lot of big road blocks remaining, but the Cowboys have to keep taking care of their own.
