Jim Harbaugh was really feeling himself during the postgame press conference after his Michigan Wolverines beat the Penn State Nittany Lions on the road.

After the Michigan Wolverines defeated the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday, Jim Harbaugh had plenty to say at the podium following his team’s big Big Ten East win.

Michigan improved to 9-1 on the year with the Wolverines’ lone loss being to the in-state rival Michigan State Spartans in East Lansing. With only Maryland and Ohio State left on the regular-season slate, Michigan is still very much alive to achieve everything it wants this college football season. It was a hard-fought battle to beat Penn State on the road, so yes, Harbaugh was excited.

Here he is telling his team how proud he was of them for getting the win over the Nittany Lions.

Harbaugh talked about the amount of grit his team showed vs. Penn State and how this year’s Michigan team seems to have all the qualities necessary to become a champion.

He spoke glowingly about his team’s best player Aidan Hutchinson, citing that he has not seen a better player than him all season long. Kenneth Walker III is pretty good too, but Hutchinson is right up there with the very best in all of college football.

Harbaugh would finish by saying that the younger players are stepping up, that quarterback Cade McNamara was born for big moments like this and how much of a team player running back Hassan Haskins has been for Michigan this year.

Overall, Harbaugh should be pretty amped about how his team performed in a tough ball game. It was a cold afternoon in Beaver Stadium and the Nittany Lions would not go away quietly. Lesser Michigan teams would have found a way to lose this one, but like Harbaugh kept on saying, this team was “born for this”. It may have been a cliche-riddled postgame presser, but good for him.

Without debate, the Wolverines are playing like one of the very best teams in the country this year.
