Picks No. 23 through 25

. Cornerback. Kansas City Chiefs. Trent McDuffie. 23. player. 124

The Kansas City Chiefs were left for dead a few weeks ago, as many in the media were wondering if Patrick Mahomes was broken. Well, after beating the Las Vegas Raiders 41-14 on Sunday night, they are officially back and could be the team to beat in the AFC once again.

For the Chiefs, they do have some issues, including in the secondary, where they target cornerback Trent McDuffie from Washington in this mock draft. McDuffie would start for this Chiefs defense on Day 1, shoring up one of the few issues on this roster.

. Offensive Tackle. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Darian Kinnard. 24. player. 48

This past weekend, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were embarrassed by the Washington Football Team, and Brady had one of his worst games with the Bucs. However, it is only one game, and when all is said and done, the likelihood is that they will make another run towards the Super Bowl.

Looking ahead, there are some issues on this Bucs roster they need to fix, and one happens to be upfront along the offensive line in front of Brady. Darian Kinnard from Kentucky would be a nice get this late in round one, as he has left tackle potential at the next level.

. Quarterback. Pittsburgh Steelers. Sam Howell. 25. player. 55

The Pittsburgh Steelers figured they would win their matchup in Week 10, as they were playing the lowly Detroit Lions, one who had yet to win a game all season. Well, with Ben Roethlisberger going down due to COVID-19 a few days before the game, they had to turn to Mason Rudolph, and the team ended up tying the Lions 16-16.

Rudolph is not the successor to Big Ben, so with pick No 25, they may decide to go quarterback, landing Sam Howell from UNC. Howell was once considered a top-5 pick, and while he may be top-10 before all is said and done, he would be the next franchise QB for the Steelers if they grab him here.
