Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka are facing off in the fifth edition of Capital Oneās The Match on Black Friday and theyāre trading barbs on Twitter.
On the day after Thanksgiving, golf fans could conceivably have a conclusion to the Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka feud that has drawn plenty of eyes over the past year. That, of course, is because theyāll be playing in the fifth Capital Oneās The Match in a one vs. one showdown on the golf course.
But while we still have a little more than a week until that 12-hole event from Las Vegas, at least one of the two golfers involved is trying to add a little more fuel to the fire.
Taking to Twitter to throw a barb, DeChambeau noted that Koepkaās most recent results, missed cuts at Mayokoba and the Houston Open, arenāt exactly the type of form that Koepka would like to be showing coming into the match. For good measure, DeChambeau used Koepkaās own eye-roll meme to call it out.
Bryson DeChambeau-Brooks Koepka feud coming to a close?
Itās realistic that we could see the Bryson-Brooks beef fly into the sunset after The Match, truth be told.
Especially after they coexisted well at the Ryder Cup, much of their feud has seemed a bit contrived, this recent roast from DeChambeau somewhat included.
Subsequently, it wouldnāt be all that shocking to see that much of their public feud has been to help sell The Match and, once itās completed, we wonāt hear much of it again. That doesnāt mean that theyāll be the best of friends but, at the least, it could die down substantially.
