5 bold predictions for Packers against Vikings

Russell Wilson’s return wasn’t enough to stop the Packers last week. Here’s how they’ll vanquish the Vikings in their Week 11 matchup. 

The Packers have a nice opportunity to put even more distance between themselves and the rest of the NFC North this weekend. The Vikings enter Sunday afternoon’s game as the second-place team in the division, but a loss to Green Bay would likely end their slim homes of catching the Packers.

Matt LaFleur’s team is coming off an interesting 17-0 win over the Seahawks. Aaron Rodgers had a poor game by his own lofty standards, but Green Bay’s defense stood tall and shut out Russell Wilson on his return to action. That unit will look to duplicate that feat against Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota offense this week.

For Rodgers and the offense, this game will all be about getting back on track. Minnesota has a competent, but unspectacular defense. 5. Eric Stokes will get a pick

Stokes was excellent against Seattle last week and is primed to build on his performance against Minnesota’s talented group of wide receivers. He didn’t allow a single reception in 47 snaps against the Seahawks and this week he’s going to add an interception to his repertoire.

Cousins isn’t going to test him too many times in this one, but he’ll try to force one deep ball against the young corner that’s going to turn into a costly turnover. Back Stokes to get a big interception for his team that will help power them to victory in Week 11.
