10 TE sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 11
By Jakob Ashlin
8. Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears
Rostered: 11.3%
Before the Bears’ bye week, Cole Kmet was starting to build some momentum. He saw an increase in targets; he received 20 targets over his past three games.
That increase in usage led to a direct increase in production. From Week 6 to Week 9, Kmet was fifth among tight ends in receiving yards.
Kmet’s lack of touchdown production has limited his fantasy value, thus far; Kmet has not recorded a receiving touchdown this season.
However, that could change very soon. Kmet’s red-zone targets are also on the rise. He has been targeted four times in the red zone across his past two games. Prior to that, he received only two red-zone targets all season.
He will have a favorable matchup this week against the Ravens, who are allowing the third-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season.
Kmet has sneaky TE1 upside this week.
7. C.J. Uzomah, Cincinnati Bengals
Rostered: 16.4%
After a four-game stretch where he recorded five receiving touchdowns, C.J. Uzomah cooled off in his past two games with 13.7 total fantasy points.
However, he is set to have a great matchup this week against the Raiders, who are allowing the second-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season.
Uzomah is a streaming option with high upside.
