Terence Crawford vs. Shawn Porter fight card, start time and viewing guide
WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford looks to make a statement against former champion Shawn Porter on Nov. 20. Here’s how to watch.
Terence Crawford has reigned as the WBO welterweight champion for over three years, but he has the toughest test of his boxing career in former champion Shawn Porter.
Crawford (37-0, 28 KOs), 34, from Omaha, NE, is nearing the end of his prime due to age, but he’s looking to prove that he’s the best welterweight in the world. Errol Spence Jr. and Yordenis Ugas hold the other division titles, but an impressive win against Porter could make Crawford the consensus favorite in the loaded division.
Porter (31-3-1, 17 KOs), 34, from Las Vegas, NV, is a two-time world champion having held the welterweight IBF and WBC titles. He has a few losses on his record but makes every fight a competitive scrap. He hasn’t fought since August 2020 when he defeated Sebastian Formella via unanimous decision. A win against Crawford would make him a three-time world champion and spark a resurgence.
