Andy Dalton and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine rate among the top Week 12 fantasy football pickups.

Trying to manage your fantasy football team in Thanksgiving week is always tricky with three Thursday games, meaning guys who could have been cleared to play on Sunday may not be available on Turkey Day. Add in the fact that the Kansas City Chiefs and Arizona Cardinals are on bye and it makes life very difficult for fantasy owners trying to assemble a winning lineup.

As we do every week, let’s break down the top five fantasy football pickups to help you pick up a win in Week 12. All rostered percentages are courtesy of Yahoo Sports.

5. Top Week 12 fantasy football pickups – Chicago Bears WR Marquise Goodwin

Injuries create opportunities in fantasy football and Allen Robinson’s absence in Week 11 opened up plenty of looks in the Bears’ passing game. Darnell Mooney absolutely feasted, racking up 16 targets, but the biggest surprise was the emergence of Marquise Goodwin as a fantasy option.

Goodwin was targeted eight times and caught four of them for 104 yards and a touchdown. Fantasy owners are very familiar with Goodwin from his days with the Buffalo Bills as his lightning speed can offer a DeSean Jackson-esque performance if Goodwin booms.

The Bears have a quick turnaround against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day, making it very possible that Robinson won’t be able to go in this matchup either. If Robinson sits, it makes sense to snag Goodwin (who is rostered in 0 percent of Yahoo leagues) as a flex option in a tremendous matchup against the burnable Detroit secondary.
