1. Broncos fail to keep pace with the Chargers

The Broncos have been an up-and-down team this year. They managed to upset the Dallas Cowboys on their home turf but ended up losing to the likes of the Philadelphia Eagles. Now, they face a Chargers team that will be hard for Denver to keep pace with.

Herbert is coming off a stellar game in primetime, Austin Ekeler scored four touchdowns against the Steelers and the Chargers have a solid wideout duo of Keenan Allen and Mike Williams.

Even though the Broncos have a solid set of pass-catching options, they are a bit hamstrung by the quarterback play. Don’t get us wrong, there are times where Bridgewater has played well, but he is not going to light up the stat-sheets, which is something that he will need to do to keep pace with the Chargers.

This is the next true test of the Broncos’ reverse jinx because we do not see them beating the Chargers.

Final Score: Chargers 44, Broncos 27
