3 Ezekiel Elliott trade destinations for Cowboys to free Tony Pollard
By Scott Rogust
The Dallas Cowboys clearly have something in running back Tony Pollard. Here are three hypothetical trade destinations for Ezekiel Elliott if they were to plan on moving him.
The Dallas Cowboys participated in a thrilling Thanksgiving Day game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Even though they forced overtime, it was the Raiders who left AT&T Stadium with the 36-33 victory.
If there was one thing to take away from the game, it is that the Cowboys truly have something special in running back Tony Pollard. Not only did he pick up 68 yards from scrimmage in the game, but he also returned a kick 100-yards for a touchdown.
That leaves some questions as to what the Cowboys should do at the position. Could trading Ezekiel Elliott ahead of the 2022 season be an answer? If that is the case, here are three potential trade destinations they could explore.

Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins could be a team that looks to further upgrade their offense, specifically at running back.
This season, Miami has one of the worst rushing attacks in the NFL. Through 11 games, the Dolphin averaged just 77.4 rushing yards per game, the second-worst in the league, behind the Houston Texans. Yes, the offensive line plays a role in it, but they could stand to add a premier back to their arsenal.
If the Dolphins want to run it back with Tua Tagovailoa for one more year, bringing in Elliott for the quarterback to lean upon would be a wise move. Plus, it would help that they can bring in Elliott’s contract with Tagovailoa still on his rookie deal.
