This is a make-or-break week for many fantasy football teams as players are trying to make a run at the fantasy playoffs, which start soon.

This week might be the most important for teams across the fantasy football world. The playoffs for most leagues start in Week 15, which means there are three weeks until the playoffs start. This has been an extremely strange fantasy season to match the extremely strange actual NFL season. Fantasy leagues seem to have insane parity. Just about everyone is still in the playoff race this late in the season, well except that one cousin who keeps forgetting to change their lineup when a player is ruled out on Thursday.

More teams are near the center than ever this year, which means going bold might be what it takes to make a playoff run. There are only so many ways to get ahead in the fantasy world nowadays. The waiver wire is looking bleak, with most leagues looking for major fliers on players like D’Onte Foreman or Dan Arnold to save the season.

What bold predictions might come true in fantasy football during NFL Week 12?

There are players sitting on everyone’s bench that will outscore the starters. It’s that time of the year where those tweener players might have a huge week, but it’s not time to abandon the players who got you here at this point.

Last week, there were some monster performances. Jonathan Taylor had one of the best games in recent memory with five total touchdowns. Now he goes into a matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They have the best rushing defense in the entire NFL. That leads us to our first bold prediction of the week.
