The Iowa State football team should be grateful for Breece Hall as he made some major history while helping to carry the Cyclones in a dominant showing against the TCU Horned Frogs.

Breece Hall is among the best running backs in college football and he’s been able to claim a pretty impressive rushing record as his own. What was once one of the longest-standing FBS records in history will now belong to the Iowa State Cyclones running back.

In 24-straight games, Hall has rushed for a touchdown.

Hall broke the record that was set by former Arkansas running back Bill Burnett 51 years ago when he finished a streak of 23 games during which he ran for a touchdown.

It may take someone a very long time to surpass what Hall has accomplished. It took over half a century for someone to even be able to do this.

What Hall has done is absolutely remarkable and it’s yet another astonishing accomplishment that highlights what Matt Campbell has been able to do with the Cyclones.

Campbell has been dedicated in his efforts to develop the Cyclones into a solid program and he’s done just that.

While they haven’t been able to be a Big 12 contender this season, the Cyclones have still been solid, and one huge reason for that is Campbell’s insistence on running Hall being combined with Hall’s relentless efforts to make his way into the end zone.

If Hall opts out of playing in Iowa State’s bowl game, he went out on a high note, rushing for 242 yards on 18 carries and scoring three touchdowns. He also added 39 receiving yards and a touchdown.
