Aidan Hutchinson was one of the stars of the game for Michigan as they beat Ohio State at The Big House.

It’s safe to say the defensive lineman is as good a representative of the Maize and Blue as any player on this year’s squad.

So when he said he was motivated by the trash talk from Ohio State circles, you can bet the entire team fed off of that.

How did Hutchinson feel about the Buckeyes coming into the game?

“They were disrespecting us, stepping on our jerseys, saying they were going to hang 100 on us. A lot of talking (about it). We were about it today,” Hutchinson said per Zach Shaw of 247Sports.

Ohio State head coach Ryan Day was the one responsible for the comment about putting up 100 points on the Wolverines and he definitely took a beating for how it actually played out. Even Jim Harbaugh took a shot at him for it.

In the end, Hutchinson led the way with three sacks as Michigan outplayed Ohio State at just about every level. It was a statement performance from the Wolverines and their defensive captain. It was also an undoubtedly humbling experience for the Buckeyes.
