Paul Finebaum getting dragged for Jim Harbaugh hot take
By John Buhler
Nobody is getting roasted alive more on Twitter right now than Paul Finebaum for his scorching hot take gone awry of Jim Harbaugh.
Not only did the Ohio State Buckeyes lose The Game, but Paul Finebaum is being devoured alive on Twitter for his awful hot take of Jim Harbaugh.
Earlier in the week, the ESPN host said the Michigan head coach Harbaugh was “incapable” of beating Ohio State. Well, Finebaum is not 150-years-old now, but the Wolverines are victorious in The Game for the first time in a decade.
Harbaugh is now one win away from punching his alma mater’s first ticket to the College Football Playoff in school history.
This is a prime example of why the Old Takes Exposed Twitter account was created in the first place.
Paul Finebaum is victim of Old Takes Exposed after Jim Harbaugh beat Ohio State
While it had been a minute since Michigan beat Ohio State, what was Finebaum thinking to say this earlier in the week? This was not a matchup of a colossal Goliath vs. Big Ten cannon fodder. These were a pair of 10-1 teams going at it with a division title on the line. Ohio State earned the right to be favored, but Michigan earned the right to go to Indianapolis by winning convincingly.
Ultimately, this would have been funny had Finebaum been proven right. Had Michigan lost this one, who knows when the next time the Wolverines would have a shot to win The Game? However, Finebaum has every reason to be ripped to shreds on social media for criticizing Harbaugh in the manner that he did. Harbaugh has Michigan on the verge of a Big Ten title.
All the pressure is now on Michigan to not screw up horrendously in Indianapolis next Saturday.
