It was a battle of strengths at Lucas Oil Stadium as NFL rushing leader Jonathan Taylor and the Colts hosted the defending Super Bowl champions and the number-one run defense in the league. The Buccaneers did keep Taylor in check but quarterback Carson Wentz guided his team to a 10-point lead at intermission. But he would have his issues in the second half. He finished with three of the club’s five turnovers, including a pair of interceptions.

Losers of two straight games but coming off some much-needed midseason vacation time, the Rams made their way to Lambeau Field for a playoff rematch with the Packers. Sean McVay’s club trailed 10-0 in the second quarter and was very competitive but never managed to even things up with the NFC North leaders.

Veteran Matthew Stafford threw for 302 yards and two score but was sacked twice and turned over the football on two occasions.

The Bengals were in position to sweep the Steelers for the first time since 2009. And Zac Taylor’s club made it look easy. Running back Joe Mixon carried 28 times for 165 yards and two scores. Joe Burrow was sharp – hitting on 20 of his 24 throws for 190 yards and one TD (1 interception).

Cincinnati sacked veteran Ben Roethlisberger three times and forced him into three turnovers, with Mike Hilton returning one an interception 24 yards for a score.
