After beating Ohio State, Michigan football coach received a message from Wolverine legend Tom Brady that is sure to galvanize the Maize and Blue Faithful.

Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh shares a common trait with NFL quarterback Tom Brady in that they once played the role of signal-caller in Ann Arbor — though they obviously went in different directions thereafter.

Following Michigan’s upset win over rival Ohio State, both men reveled in the victory and berth in the Big Then Championship Game.

Before Saturday’s matchup against a talented Iowa team, Brady appeared on his “Let’s Go” podcast and sent a message to Harbaugh and his troops, which is sure to have the Maize and Blue crew inspired and ready to take on the next challenge.

Tom Brady’s message to Jim Harbaugh is sweet music to Michigan football fans

For those who don’t know, Brady was once a starter for the Michigan Wolverines and was a backup on the 1997 National Championship team. Although Brady didn’t beat Ohio State in his junior season, he led them to a 10-win campaign and a Citrus Bowl victory.

Of course, Brady’s accomplishments in the NFL have made him far more of a legend than his college career did. In spite of that, he’s always remained true to the Wolverines since his stock skyrocketed as a surefire Pro Football Hall of Famer.

Undoubtedly, the Wolverines are riding high after this emotional victory. Having a message from a Michigan legend and arguably the best quarterback of all time only adds to the fun.
