Top 25 NFL wide receivers of the 21st century
22. Donald Driver
Man, the Packers have had a lot of good receivers over the last two decades. From 2002-12, Driver was consistently one of the better receivers in the game. Whether it was Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers throwing him the ball, he was always a reliable target.
He was selected to his first Pro Bowl in his fourth season in 2002. That season, he caught 70 passes for 1,064 yards and nine touchdowns. He took a step back in 2003, but from 2004-09, he eclipsed 1,000 yards receiving every year.
Driver’s best season came in 2006. He hauled in a career-high 92 passes for 1,295 yards, which was also the most in his career. He was selected to his second Pro Bowl, and repeated in 2007 after catching 82 passes for 1,048 yards. Driver eclipsed 1,000 yards receiving two more times in his career, doing so in 2008 and ’09. He was one of the most productive receivers of that time period.
Driver was a three-time Pro Bowler and totaled over 10,000 receiving yards in his career. He was one of the Packers’ brightest stars in the 2000s, and part of the Packers team that won Super Bowl XLV.
