College GameDay is in Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game between Georgia and Alabama, but who will be the GameDay guest picker?

It’s Championship Week in college football and College Football Playoff berths will be won and lost on Saturday. The biggest game of the week is the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta, Georgia between No. 1 Georgia and No. 3 Alabama and ESPN’s College GameDay is going to be there.

This is the fourth Georgia game that College GameDay will be at this season. Georgia is undefeated this season so perhaps the ESPN show has been a good luck charm for Kirby Smart’s team. Or more likely, it’s just that Georgia has really great players and great coaches and they’ll need them to be at their best against Nick Saban’s Alabama squad led by Heisman hopeful, quarterback Bryce Young.

Who will Lee Corso pick on College GameDay?

Lee Corso already picked Georgia as his national championship pick so it’s likely he’ll roll with the Bulldogs to win the SEC Championship Game. However, he could pull a fast on the audience and pick Alabama to win because it wouldn’t mean Georgia isn’t out of the playoff and national championship conversation. That said, expect him to go with Georgia.

Who is the College GameDay guest picker?

Country music star Kane Brown, golfer Harris English and comedian Jeff Foxworthy have been the College GameDay guest pickers for the three previous Georgia games with GameDay in attendance. ESPN took a lot of flak for their pick of comedian Sebastian Maniscalco for the Michigan-Ohio State game last week after he said he had no knowledge of the game, sport and had zero connection to Michigan.

College GameDay live performance by Zach Brown Band

While he hasn’t been announced as the guest picker, College GameDay will have a special guest and special live performance at the SEC Championship Game with the Zac Brown Band performing. He’ll also serve as the GameDay guest picker.

College GameDay live stream
