Baylor football legends Robert Griffin III and Josh Gordon were on Twitter giddy over the Bears’ performance in the Big 12 Championship Game.
The first half of the Big 12 Championship Game between Baylor and Oklahoma State was a good time to be a Bears fan.
Dave Aranda’s team dominated the Cowboys while taking a 21-6 lead into halftime. And it should have been more except Oklahoma State blocked a kick just before the break.
Former Baylor stars like quarterback Robert Griffin III and wide receiver Josh Gordon were watching the action and commenting with glee on Twitter.

Griffin and Gordon played together at Baylor, linking up in 2010. Gordon had 714 catches and seven touchdowns on 42 receptions while Griffin had 22 touchdowns and 3,501 yards on the year.
They might have made Griffin’s Heisman campaign the next year even more spectacular in 2011 but Gordon was suspended for the season.
Gordon ended up in the NFL’s 2012 Supplemental Draft and has had a stop-start pro career with highs and lows since. He currently plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Griffin tied with Jack Wilson, Adrian Burk and Jas Smith as the highest-ever drafted Bears player as the No. 2 pick in the 2012 NFL draft.
The Bears are seeking their first Big 12 conference title since 2013 and 2014 under Art Briles.
