Alabama football star wide receiver Jameson Williams can absolutely fly on the gridiron.

Alabama football star Jameson Williams took this pass from Bryce Young to the house vs. Georgia in the SEC Championship game with blazing foot speed.

Though this is Williams’ first year in Tuscaloosa, the former Ohio State receiver has set the SEC world on fire with his great receiving talent. He is a finalist for the Biletnikoff and is a menace for any team tasked with defending him. It may have been a bit of a busted coverage by the Georgia defense on this 67-yard touchdown strike, but good luck trying to keep pace with Williams.

He may be fast, but what’s his 40 time?

Jameson Williams 40 time: How fast is the Crimson Tide WR?

The St. Louis native ran a 4.4 40-yard dash in high school. He has reportedly run a 4.39 40 since arriving at Alabama. One could expect this number to be even better once he declares for the 2022 NFL Draft. He is going to get drafted very high, but if he can improve on his 40 time, he has the potential to be the first wide receiver taken, edging out either of his former Ohio State teammates.

Williams’ big-play ability has him on the verge of being the ninth wide receiver taken in the first round out of Alabama during the Nick Saban era in Tuscaloosa. His teammate John Metchie III has the chance to make it an even 10. For a school that used to be three yards and a cloud of dust only a few years ago, Alabama’s ascension to being Wide Receiver University is nothing to scoff at.

Williams is a big reason why Alabama has a decent chance to win back-to-back national titles.
