The College Football Playoff odds are out and Alabama is favored to win the national championship and Michigan is getting slighted by the oddsmakers.

After throttling the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship Game, it looks like the Alabama Crimson Tide is expected to go on and win the national championship this season.

As everyone prepares for the upcoming College Football Playoff, the Crimson Tide appears truly capable of winning a national title this season. Alabama has struggled to be consistent at times this year, but the Crimson Tide’s ceiling is ridiculously high.

That was demonstrated when Alabama demolished Georgia. Now, oddsmakers are expecting Nick Saban’s team to go out and win it all.

National Championship odds: Alabama favored to win College Football Playoff over Georgia in rematch of SEC Championship Game

According to WynnBET, here are the odds to win the national title for each of the four teams who made it this far:

  • Alabama: +110
  • Georgia: +135
  • Michigan: +700
  • Cincinnati: +1400

The Crimson Tide is favored by two touchdowns in its upcoming game against the Cincinnati Bearcats. Alabama and Cincinnati will be meeting in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic and it’s not a surprise that many expect Alabama to roll. Given that Cincinnati hasn’t been taken seriously for two seasons now and Alabama just thrashed Georgia, these odds make sense.

Over in the Capital One Orange Bowl, Georgia and Michigan will meet. Despite the fact that Georgia’s defense looked less than impressive in the SEC Championship Game and Michigan was able to clear Iowa with ease, the Bulldogs are favored by more than a touchdown over the Wolverines.
