The Kansas City Chiefs can move a step closer to locking down the AFC West by taking down the struggling Las Vegas Raiders.

The Chiefs are the hottest team in the AFC West. The hot streak has a good chance of continuing this week with the Raiders visiting Arrowhead Stadium.

The division rivals met for the first time this season in Week 9, when Patrick Mahomes and the KC defense announced they were very much back.

Kansas City ran away with that victory 41-14. They’ve kept things going with victories over the Cowboys and Broncos in the two games since.

What will this one hold?

5 bold predictions for the Chiefs vs. the Raiders

Melvin Ingram will have his best game for the Chiefs yet

Melvin Ingram has already played the Raiders twice this season. He sacked Derek Carr in Week 2 while he was with the Steelers but had a more quiet outing in just his second game playing for the Chiefs a few weeks ago.

Ingram started against Denver and contributed to his first sack with Kansas City while hitting the QB twice. He’s coming into his own as an impact player for the Chiefs and the stats are following.

Carr needs to watch out again this week because Ingram is pinning his ears back and getting after the passer. He’s freeing up opportunities for Chris Jones and Drank Clark as well.

Carr has been sacked multiple times in each of the Raiders’ last four games, beginning with two sacks by the Chiefs in Week 9.

Look for Ingram to take him down at least once on Sunday.
