Bold Prediction #2: Both KC running backs are worth starting

The Kansas City Chiefs have been an offense of frustration this season. Travis Kelce is the highest scoring tight end, but he has a zero-point performance in standard one week, and he only got two points last week against the Denver Broncos. Patrick Mahomes had zero touchdowns passing again. That means another disappointing week for the Chiefs receiving core.

One position that did not disappoint for the Chiefs was surprisingly the running back position. Darrell Williams had 80 total yards and Clyde Edwards-Helaire had 82 total yards. They both broke double digits in PPR despite it being an offensively inept game for the Chiefs. This was the one silver lining for fantasy owners, and it wasn’t really that big of a silver lining.

This week, the Chiefs are taking on the Las Vegas Raiders. It’s going to be a fun matchup that the Chiefs can’t win with just one offensive touchdown. They need to win this game to stay in playoff contention. They lose a lot of the tie breakers, but winning this week could mean putting themselves back into the conversation.

This is why the Chiefs need to keep the ball on the ground and pound the Raiders. They allow the third-most fantasy points to the running back position. They allow a lot of touchdowns to running backs on the ground and through the air. Both Williams and Edwards-Helaire will score this week, so they will be worth starting.
