Bold Prediction #4: Zach Wilson breaks 20 points

Playing someone from the New York Jets offense is always a risk. They’ve looked lost for most of the season. It’s not for lack of trying, but the execution has been pathetic for most of the season. A lot of that comes down to Zach Wilson, who has looked like a rookie under center. He was injured for a few weeks, and it seemed like taking a breather was really good for him.

Last week, Wilson had his first 20 point game of his fantasy career. He had two touchdowns throwing and another touchdown rushing against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Jets eventually fell way behind, and it was all coming in garbage time, but there were at least some positives to take from how the Jets were playing in the first half of the contest.

This week, the Jets take on an undermanned Saints team that has been dreadful against the pass this season. They allowed five rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks this season. Wilson is definitely a threat to run for one when the Jets get in the red zone.

Wilson is a boom or bust candidate this week. The Saints have a lot of interceptions, and that could wreak havoc on Wilson’s confidence. However, if he gets going in the passing game, it will quickly lead to a great performance.
