Moana Jones and Annie Reickert featured in season 2 of No Small Feat

The Red Bull series “No Small Feat” will return for a second season featuring two up-and-coming female surfers, Moana Jones, and Annie Reickert.

As winter approaches the big wave season of surfing in Hawaii begins to ramp up. Big wave contests are entering the waiting period and surf stoke begins to hit all over again. As always at the forefront of surfing content is Red Bull. They are constantly putting out surfing films and shows highlighting the biggest talent in the water. No Small Feat season 2 follows two experienced surfers, Moana Jones and Annie Reickert through life in Hawaii.

The show is a no-holds barge look inside the lives of these two rising stars in the surfing world. Moana Jones is quickly becoming the biggest female star at Pipeline. Most fans of surfing and some non-fan know that Banzi Pipeline is the mecca of Hawaiian surfing. One of the most dangerous waves in the world is a playground that Jones can often be found on. She is one of the hardest charging girls in the water and she is on a mission to prove that the ladies can do just as well as the men, if not better.

Annie Reickert is an all-around “water woman.” She got her start in kite surfing and stand-up paddleboarding and now can often be found of some of the most monstrous waves in Hawaii. Reickert has competed in historic big wave contests like Jaws and will be competing in this year’s Red Bull Magnitude contest. The series shows her personal life from hanging at home to getting tossed around in a 15-foot monster wave.

The series gives a look inside the lives of these two groundbreaking athletes like no show ever has before. Appearance by legends of the sport, Kai Lenny, Jamie O’Brien, and Paige Alms give a look inside the Hawaii surf culture and the magnitude of what Jones and Reickert are able to accomplish in a male-dominated world. At one point in the series, Reickert states that she was the only female to cross the Kaiwi Channel on a foil board but instead of relishing in that feat stated that she hopes more women will join her in doing that as well.

Both women are are the precipice of their surfing careers. They are the next generation of female surfers and they are both hoping to inspire the younger girls. Although Jones is one of the best Pipe surfers on the planet she still gives surf lessons to young girls in her free time. This series is a must-watch for any surf fan or anyone interested in seeing two young women live the dream in the water.

Season two of No Small Feat will begin airing on Red Bull TV on Friday, Dec. 10.
