The Las Vegas Raiders may have just made a massive mistake in trying to troll the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of Sunday’s showdown at Kansas City.

The monster showdown between the Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs just got even more interesting. What in the world are the Raiders thinking here? Prior to kickoff, Las Vegas gathered as a team and stood on the Chiefs logo.

Talk about complete and total disrespect here by the visitors. You already know that Kansas City probably saw this and was fired up over the move by their AFC West rivals.

Raiders standing on the Chiefs logo at midfield sure backfired

While Las Vegas was really feeling itself entering the Week 14 battle, things sure backfired for them in this case. On the very first offensive play for the Raiders, Josh Jacobs fumbled the football. To make things even worse, Mike Hughes scooped the ball up and took it back 23 yards for a touchdown.

In order for Las Vegas to try and record an upset win here on the road against Kansas City, the team needed to get off to a hot start and play mistake-free football the rest of the way. Instead, Jacobs coughed up the football and Kansas City’s fans went nuts with Hughes finishing the job.

Sure, the Raiders and Chiefs don’t like each other, but when you pull off the kind of move in standing on the team’s logo, that’s taking things a bit over the top. Kansas City, as is normally the case, is letting its play do the talking for them.

Matter of fact, that quick fumble returned for a touchdown went ahead and shut Las Vegas up. The Raiders will know better than to try and do this again down the road.
