Atlanta Braves fans are going to love how good Ronald Acuña Jr. looked in the batting cage.

For those Atlanta Braves fans who are growing oh so tired of the Freddie Freeman free agency saga, here is Ronald Acuña Jr. taking some swings inside of a batting cage.

Freeman might be the franchise cornerstone, but there is no doubt about who is the most talented player on the Braves. Acuña was well on his way towards achieving superstar status before tearing his ACL on the warning track down in Miami only days before the Midsummer Classic. While he missed the rest of the season, Atlanta went on to win the 2021 World Series.

With Acuña back in the lineup, the Braves have a chance to be even better next season.

While the Braves outfield was in a bad spot once Acuña was down for the count, it was totally transformed on the fly by general manager Alex Anthopoulos upon a flurry of deadline deals. Though not all four outfielders acquired via trade last year are returning, some will have the lucky fortune of playing alongside Acuña throughout next season. His play will help evaluate the group.

Having a Gold Glove-caliber defensive player with a certain Sliver Slugger bat returning to the lineup cannot be overstated. If anybody is capable of going 40-40 in a season, it would have to be Acuña. What his triumphant return will signify is the best team in baseball getting back a top-five player in the game. Of course, Atlanta will have to adjust, but it should have no problem doing so.

Here is to Acuña playing as close as 162 games for the 2022 Braves as humanly possible.
