Here are the biggest winners and losers from National Signing Day in college football.

College football fans got to celebrate what was another fantastic National Signing Day.

While it is technically Early Signing Day, the bulk of the top high school players will sign their national letters of intent on Wednesday. Though other top players can still commit and sign their NLIs over the next few months, these recruiting classes will be closed to finished products with Christmas rapidly approaching. Some winners, and some losers, are more obvious than others.

Here are the biggest winners and losers Early Signing Day could have ever hoped to provide us.

National Signing Day: Biggest winners and losers in college football recruiting

Winner: Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs continue to recruit like no other

Though there is still time for this to be sorted out, Kirby Smart’s Georgia football program has the top class in the country through Early Signing Day. The Dawgs will inevitably finish top three once the dust finally settles. All four of their five-stars signed their NLIs on Wednesday, including former Clemson commit Daylen Everette, who flipped to the Dawgs on Tuesday afternoon.

Loser: Florida Gators and whatever mess Billy Napier has gotten himself into

On the other end of the spectrum, the Florida Gators got their teeth kicked in this year. While incoming head coach Billy Napier had no chance to fix the mess Dan Mullen created, he is the one who has to clean it up. Florida not only finished outside of the top 50, but had the worst recruiting class in the SEC. When Vanderbilt laps you, you know you did awful when it comes to recruitment.

Let’s take a look at the biggest story that transpired on Early Signing Day and evaluate, shall we?
