5 bold predictions for Packers against Ravens
2. Aaron Rodgers will throw for at least 425 yards
A dirty little secret in Baltimore is that the Ravens’ pass defense ranks 31st in the NFL. They’re giving up just over 266 yards through the air every week. That’s music to Aaron Rodgers’ ears.
Matt LaFleur and his coaching staff might try to work hard to establish the run game early, but they’ll quickly realize that attacking the Ravens through the air is the path to victory this week. Rodgers is going to throw the ball a lot and he’ll be free to take plenty of shots down the field against Baltimore’s overmatched secondary.
The end result will be video game numbers for the slightly controversial quarterback. The Ravens will rack up a handful of sacks with their exotic blitz packages, but that won’t stop Rodgers from slinging the ball all over the field.
He’s got a strong chance to be the most productive statistical quarterback in the league in Week 15. Start him in all fantasy formats. This is a great matchup for the future Hall-of-Famer. 425 passing yards and three or four touchdowns should be the minimum expectations for Rodgers this week.
