Chargers: Donald Parham injury update.

Everyone wants to know the condition of Chargers’ Donald Parham Jr. who suffered a nasty knockout in the opening minutes of the Thursday Night Football game versus the Chiefs and while there is a bit of an update at press time, there’s still a lot unknown about his health.

Pete Sweeny tweeted that he was being taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.

“The Chargers have announced that TE Donald Parham has been taken to the hospital for further evaluation,” he wrote.

Shortly before game ended, the Chargers updated fans with further details.

“Tight End Donald Parham Jr. is currently undergoing tests, imaging and evaluation for a head injury at UCLA Harbor Medical Center and is in stable condition,” the team tweeted.

We’ll update when we know more details. Please check back soon.

Parham was knocked unconscious when his head hit the ground as he was diving for the ball. His body stiffened in a catch stance and he was carted off the field.
