Following the Green Bay Packers thrilling win over the Ravens, Aaron Rodgers didn’t waste any time connecting with Davante Adams and reminding him how special of a player he is.

It’s not often Davante Adams is held in check, but that’s what kind of happened against the Baltimore Ravens. We say kind of just because despite being limited to six receptions for 44 yards, Adams still found the end zone in a heart-stopping 31-30 win for the Green Bay Packers over Baltimore.

Only 44 yards? That’s the second-lowest total for Adams this season, with his 42-yard showing against the Chiefs on Nov. 7 ranking at the bottom. If you ask Aaron Rodgers, though, Adams has nothing to worry about following Sunday’s showing. It’s easy to understand why.

Aaron Rodgers remains Davante Adams biggest fan

The fact of the matter is that Baltimore was double-teaming Adams for most of Sunday’s contest. They were doing everything possible to try and prevent him from catching the pigskin. They got the job done for the most part, though Adams did in fact score a touchdown.

It might have been frustrating for Adams at times, but Green Bay still went on to survive and they’re now 11-3 on the year. Green Bay looks poised to capture the No. 1 seed in the NFC and a first-round bye in the playoffs.

For Adams, he’s been spectacular once again this campaign for Green Bay. Following Sunday’s showing, Adams now has 96 receptions for 1,248 yards and eight touchdowns. He’s a lock to earn Pro Bowl honors, but he’d of course much rather be playing in the Super Bowl once February rolls around.

The Packers are looking like serious threats to win the NFC this year, especially after we all saw Tom Brady and the Bucs get stunned by the New Orleans Saints in Sunday Night Football. Should Green Bay go all the way, Adams will be ready to put on a show in making that happen.
