2. Micah Parsons will bounce back with 5 quarterback pressures

Keeping Parsons away from the quarterback was about the only thing New York’s offense managed to do effectively last week. The future defensive rookie of the year will bounce back in a big way this week.

It’s tough to determine how many sacks he can get due to the unconventional nature of Washington’s likely offensive setup. As such, the prediction here is that he’ll find himself in the opposing backfield early and often on Sunday night.

Parsons will notch at least five quarterback pressure as he wrecks anything Rivera’s offense tries to accomplish. Washington simply doesn’t have the talent required at tackle to keep him at bay. They’ll run a lot of double teams his way, but Parsons is just too dynamic to be stymied by such a pedestrian strategy.

The only real danger to this prediction is that Washington may try to avoid throwing the ball often enough to let Parsons get rolling. The Cowboys’ offense can make sure that doesn’t happen to scoring points early. Everything sets up for the talented rookie to enjoy a big week against his team’s NFC East rivals.
