In a rare in-state meeting, the UCF Knights (8-4) will face the Florida Gators (6-6) in the Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl this holiday season.

These two state schools from the Sunshine State will square off at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on Thursday, Dec. 23 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Though the Knights won the most recent Gasparilla Bowl, that came at the end of the 2019 college football season, as the 2020 game was canceled due to COVID. Dillon Gabriel was playing quarterback for Josh Heupel in that bowl game.
