Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins has been battling through pain for his team and fans will surely appreciate his guts.

There’s no denying that Minnesota Vikings fans out there have grown increasingly frustrated with Kirk Cousins over the years. Having said that, few people can argue that the man always gives his all for the team and that he’s tough as nails.

This has surely been confirmed with a new report that Cousins has a cracked rib. Despite that, the signal-caller is still putting on the pads and he’ll be ready to try and help the Vikes record a win over the Rams this weekend.

Kirk Cousins is playing with a cracked rib and that’s unreal

For the Vikings to try and sneak into the playoffs with one of the NFC Wild Card spots, they’ll surely need Cousins under center to close out the season. Right now, Minnesota is 7-7 on the year and very much in the hunt.

Cousins is a big reason for that. On the year, the veteran QB has thrown for 3,656 yards and 29 touchdowns. He’s also taken care of the ball, only tossing six interceptions. With Cousins looking sharp, this of course means that Justin Jefferson has been balling out himself, as the youngster is looking like one of the top receivers in the game.

For Minnesota this weekend against Los Angeles, they’ll need Cousins to step up more than ever, as Dalvin Cook has tested positive for COVID and he’ll be away from the team for the next 10 days, ruling him out for the Week 16 matchup.

Despite his injury, Cousins won’t back down from the favored Rams and look to capture an upset. All eyes will be on him this weekend. We’ll see if Cousins will be able to deliver despite being in so much pain.
