With the Baltimore Ravens set to take on the Los Angeles Rams this weekend, it’s looking like Lamar Jackson will be ready to return from injury.

Some good news has come in for the Baltimore Ravens only four days before taking on the Los Angeles Rams. That news is that Lamar Jackson is on track to getting himself back on the gridiron for this big-time matchup.

Jackson has missed the last two games due to an ankle injury. However, the stud signal-caller is expected to get back on the practice field on Wednesday.

Lamar Jackson returning from injury is massive for the Baltimore Ravens

It goes without saying, but this is what folks all over Baltimore have been hoping to see for a while now. While Tyler Huntley and Josh Johnson gave it their all the past two games with Jackson out, Baltimore couldn’t come away with wins. In total, the Ravens have lost four straight.

It now has their playoff status up in the air. This team needs to close out the regular season strong, and there’s no question that Jackson gives them the best chance to win the next two contests.

The hope for head coach John Harbaugh is that Jackson can make it through practice this week and then take the field come Sunday. Things of course won’t be easy for him, as Aaron Donald, Von Miller and others will look to apply heavy pressure on him throughout Sunday’s game.

Despite that, you know Jackson will be fired up to get back out there with his teammates and put on a show like he normally does. It’ll come down to how his ankle is feeling in the next few days, but things sure are looking good for him for Week 17.
