Who sang the national anthem at the Cotton Bowl ahead of the Alabama vs. Cincinnati playoff semifinal? ESPN cut off Sarah Faith’s name on the broadcast.

Ahead of the Cotton Bowl between Alabama and Cincinnati, the traditional singing of the national anthem had people looking to compliment the singer.

Unfortunately, ESPN accidentally cut off her last name with the news ticker during one of the most important moments of her life.

Viewers knew her name was Sarah, but that’s not much to go on without the last name.

Her full name is Sarah Faith.

Though she is now based out of Nashville, Faith is originally from Michigan. She told MLive.com that singing the anthem at the Cotton Bowl was a “dream gig” that came about because she entered a contest run by Goodyear.
