College football conspiracy predicts where Caleb Williams will transfer
College football fans think they’ve cracked the code on predicting quarterback transfers, which means the Caleb Williams transfer can only end one way.
Now that Oklahoma quarterback Caleb Williams is in the transfer portal, the race to get him is on.
He’s the most coveted transfer on the market by far, but who has the inside track to get him.
A college football conspiracy theory recently made popular on TikTok may have the answer.

It’s all about the girlfriend. Figure out where she goes to school and you can connect the dots pretty easily.

So what about Williams? A poster on a USC message board made the connection.
If the theory holds water, Williams will have to look seriously at North Carolina.
It’s actually not a terrible option. The Tar Heels need a new quarterback with Sam Howell heading for the NFL. They didn’t have a great season this past year but they did put Howell in a position to potentially command a first-round draft pick.
Is it the most likely option for Williams? Probably not. He’ll have attention from some of the top programs around the country and he’ll get his pick between them. If he wants to compete for a championship right away he can go to Georgia. If he wants to play for the coach that recruited him to play at Oklahoma, he can go to USC. If he wants to stay put and still play for a high-powered offense, he can exit the transfer portal and play for Jeff Lebby.
The options are endless. But if he ends up at UNC, you know why.
