The Los Angeles Chargers and New England Patriots are among the NFL teams that should be on upset alert entering Week 18.

The longest regular season in NFL history is set to come to an end as the first-ever Week 18 finally arrives. The playoff picture is pretty locked in at this point with only three postseason berths up for grabs but there are a lot of seeding implications on the line this weekend.

Any upsets at this point can be extremely costly as the Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs found out by losing valuable seeding ground with their losses last week. For the final time, let’s take a look at three NFL teams that find themselves in danger of getting upset in Week 18, with all odds referenced in this story provided courtesy of the FanDuel Sportsbook.

3. NFL teams on upset alert in Week 18 – Los Angeles Rams

The race for the NFC West isn’t quite over yet after Arizona’s upset win over Dallas kept the Cardinals alive. The favorite here does remain the Los Angeles Rams, who have surged past Arizona on the strength of a five-game winning streak that included a key victory over the Cardinals.

The Rams haven’t looked infallible, however, struggling to get past a Josh Johnson-led Ravens team in a one-point victory in Week 17. The division title will be on the line on Sunday as the Rams face off with the San Francisco 49ers in a matchup where FanDuel has set Los Angeles as four-point home favorites.

This game could be tricky for the Rams since the 49ers have much more on the line in this game as they could potentially miss the postseason with a loss. San Francisco also beat the Rams once already this season so this game is fraught with peril for Los Angeles, which desperately wants to avoid opening the postseason on the road.
