The NFL playoffs are almost here. Here’s how the NFC playoff picture looks at the moment and how the game schedule is laid out.

Well, Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers officially sit at the top of the NFC heading into the NFL playoffs. They’ll get to start things off with a bye and have a solid home field advantage for as long as they’re in the playoffs. That’s not a bad thing to have, especially with the advantage that comes with playing at Lambeau Field this time of year.

As for the rest of the NFC? Well, here’s how the NFC playoff standings have shaped up as we prepare for the playoffs.

NFC Wild Card schedule

The NFC Wild Card round will get started on Saturday, Jan. 15 and then lasts through Jan. 17. The AFC Wild Card round will happen over that same timeframe and the games will be scheduled around each other.

Sunday, Jan. 16:

  • Eagles at Buccaneers at 1:05 p.m.
  • 49ers at Cowboys at 4:40 p.m.

Monday, Jan. 17:

  • Cardinals at Rams at 8:15 p.m.

NFC Divisional round schedule

Once the Wild Card round wraps up, four NFC teams will be left standing and looking to advance on. They’ll compete in two games, one that takes place on Saturday, Jan. 22 and the other on Sunday, Jan. 23.

NFC championship schedule

Following the NFC Divisional round is the NFC Championship Game. Whichever two teams are left will then face off and try to make it to the Super Bowl.
