The Dallas Cowboys have certainly a rich playoff and Super Bowl history, but the recent postseason performances have been a bit more troubling.

Particularly with the dynasty Jerry Jones built in the 1990s, the Dallas Cowboys are no strangers to having success in the playoffs on the whole. The organization has three Super Bowl rings from that run to prove as much.

However, through the Quincy Carter, Tony Romo and now the Dak Prescott years, the success in the NFL Playoffs has been much more scarce.

So as they head into the playoffs yet again, when was the last time that this franchise actually won in the postseason?

Cowboys last playoff win: When did Dallas last get a postseason victory?

Despite the narrative that Dallas always chokes in the playoffs, the Cowboys actually won in the postseason the last time they played in the 2018-19 season. They toppled the Seattle Seahawks, 24-22, in the Wild Card Round.

Unfortunately, that run ended in the Divisional Round the following week with a 30-22 loss to the LA Rams.

The bigger thing for the Cowboys has been getting past that Divisional Round. That’s a feat that the club hasn’t accomplished since 1995, the last time they also won the Super Bowl. Fans will surely tell you, though, that they should’ve gotten to that point if not for the “Dez caught it” game against the Packers.

Regardless, with the way this team has been surging, there should be hope that the Cowboys will not only pick up another playoff win but have a chance to finally break the Divisional Round curse.
