JT Daniels has a USC-theme tattoo on his leg. Or he did when he played for the Trojans in 2018.
That was a bit of an awkward piece of knowledge when he decided to transfer away from USC but it could come in handy now.
The Trojans are in a bit of a strange position at the moment. Incumbent starters Kedon Slovis and Jaxson Dart have both entered the transfer portal with the former landing at Pitt and the latter looking unlikely to return.
The specter of Caleb Williams following Lincoln Riley to USC appears to have driven Dart into the portal but there are no guarantees Williams will actually follow through and commit to the Trojans.
So what happens if Dart leaves for good and Williams picks another school? Why couldn’t Daniels make a triumphant return to pay under one of the top QB gurus out there?
